Meet Katie...

Katie Clift grew up in the media under the shadow of her Dad, Ian Calder (Ex- Channel 7's Crikey the Clown, B105's ‘Citizen Jim’ & Zinc 96.1 Breakfast Host). From day dot, she’s loved everything from commercials to voice overs to creating her own radio show entirely on a cassette tape as a kid … and still some people wonder how she found herself working in such a career…

Her life has never been the same since she married Matt in 2006. Her typical day starts around 5:45am and includes everything from brekkie to exercise to interviewing to reading to announcing to eating to cleaning to writing to sleeping … and then some.

Katie loves every minute of working in the media in Brisbane. She’s studied as an actor, journalist, presenter, radio announcer, teacher and MC, and considers herself extremely lucky to be working full time in the industry at the age of 22.

People chewing loudly, bad drivers, people crinkling their chip packets at the movies, scary rides, bad hair days and not having enough sleep!
